About the Long Ears Alive! fund
The Coonhound Companions “Long Ears Alive!” Fund is the only one dedicated to helping save homeless coonhounds and foxhounds with treatable medical conditions. We’ve helped senior hounds and puppies and purebreds and mixes all get treatment so they become a bit more interesting to potential adopters and rescues. We try to level the playing field for our beloved long-eared, song-filled dogs.

Help us help the long-eared dogs get healthy and get into rescue and get adopted into loving homes. The stories of individual hounds appear on a series of pages designed to encourage you to donate to recoup the cost of treatment for each, so we can help other deserving shelter dogs. We will continue to add pages for newer dogs helped.
